About the role

Slalom Tokyo is currently seeking a talented Sales Executive to drive business results in Japan market.

The individual will create and develop trusted relationships by engaging prospects and clients in strategic conversations about their vision and building for the future. The successful Sales Executive focuses on meaningful work and client outcomes that fuel growth and innovation.

Successful candidates combine speed and sales excellence at all stages of the buyer’s journey. The individual must thrive in a team-based environment and be passionate about growing the Slalom brand in this vertical and beyond.


Responsibilities

  • Build sales strategy for target accounts to support overall industry GTM plan
  • Target and establish new relationships at accounts in Japan market
  • Drive sales activity in partnership with the account and practice leaders
  • Work with new clients to build a pipeline and secure new MSAs
  • May be responsible for sales growth at existing accounts and may be practice-focused
  • Manage negotiations of the opportunities in the pipeline
  • Define win themes based on our client’s needs and the competitive landscape
  • Drive attendance of marketing events including those with alliance partners
  • Build and drive co-sell with alliance partners
  • Develop and share sales collateral and best practices with sales team


Qualifications

  • 8+ years of previous solution sales and account management experience
  • Proven track record opening new accounts and attaining sales goals
  • Experienced in building relationships with CXOs and business decision-makers
  • Able to partner with clients to understand their needs and recommend solutions that add value to their business
  • Skilled at leading teams through complex technology solution sales
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; strong customer service
  • Excellent collaboration and team-building and interpersonal skills
  • Organized and methodical; strong prioritization and negotiation skills
  • Strong process orientation coupled with an ability to work with virtual teams
  • Budget and project management experience
  • Experienced and adept at aligning teams to work toward a common goal; consistently demonstrates strong people management skills
  • Fluent speaking and writing in both English and Japanese (native level)
