The Engagement Management Office, a team within the internal Accounting and Finance Department based in Seattle, has oversight responsibilities for the review, set-up, maintenance and collections of all of Slalom office’s contracted engagements world-wide. In addition to adding and maintaining engagement data, this team monitors and coordinates logistics with RFP (request for proposals), time entries, accounting data, project manages accounts receivable discrepancies and provides excellent customer service with both internal Slalom Markets and external Clients. (Visit www.slalom.com for a complete list of locations.)

The ideal candidate will work as a coordinator with other Financial Operations team member(s) and subject matter experts to correctly and swiftly identify appropriate sections to process, distribute, track and maintain communication of high volume queue. Daily ability to maintain an unwavering accuracy, be exceedingly organized with a high emotional IQ and able to positively implement/communicate processes and policies in a fast-paced environment. Additional tasks such as managing the billing logistics of our partner funded accounts, Time Movements, and Ad Hoc projects may be integrated into the daily workload as needed by the Financial Operations Department.

On a typical day you would: (responsibilities)

  • Review/Research simple to high level RFPs
  • Manage and prioritize the queue of incoming requests
  • Co-ownership of RFP SharePoint Maintenance
  • Implement and enforce policy/procedure for the RFP process
  • Responsible for complex inquiries and communicating effectively with executives
  • Own the Financial Operations tasks for the Partner Alliance engagements.
  • esponsible for the billing process for all Alliance Partner engagements and programs.
  • Partner with Supervisor to bring possible initiatives and complete ad-hoc projects

It would be great if you have: (qualifications):

  • Contract Coordination or similar experience
  • Minimum of four plus years of professional work experience
  • Autonomous self-starter experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution
  • Detail orientated with strong organizational and superior communication skills.
  • Service Minded with experience deciphering ambiguous requests and taking ownership
  • Ability to create and maintain positive relationships with employees at all levels of the organization

Bonus points if you have any: (preferred/a plus):

  • MBA, PMP, CPA
  • Exhibit positive spirit & good work ethic
  • Worked in a technology environment
  • RFP Government Experience
  • Security Contract Experience
