Job Title: Cloud Engineer
Slalom, LLC is hiring an experienced Cloud Engineer who will be responsible for maintaining and improving cloud infrastructure technologies, process, and documentation for Slalom, LLC. Responsibilities will include multi cloud infrastructure DevOps delivery and support (AWS-AZURE-GCP) and much more. This individual will be knowledgeable in security best practices, have an opinion on new and emerging technologies, and take a creative approach to resolving issues. They will develop strong working relationships with both internal and external Slalom teams and Slalom leadership through excellent communication skills. A successful candidate will be hands on and have the desire to help in all areas of Information Technology. They will be experienced in delivering projects from technical design, implementation, all the way through to support handoff. She/He will have the ability to work in a strong team-oriented environment.

You have a thorough understanding of AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform
Administers and documents design of cloud resource Enterprise Systems Infrastructure to meet business requirements for reliability and business recovery
Integrate new solutions with existing IaaS, PaaS, and on-premise infrastructure resources, and evaluates impact to efficiently service changing business needs
Oversee deployment and maintenance of global cloud infrastructure
Provides best practices, standards, training, and general support for the cloud environment
Identify automation opportunities and assist in their implementation across our global infrastructure
Administers, executes, and documents security controls for cloud resource, including system access and compliance needs, to ensure integrity and confidentiality of data and systems per departmental and corporate policy
Monitors and alerts on availability and performance issues with cloud provider’s services
Work closely with the Information Security team to implement security requirements across cloud environments
Act as top tier escalation point for priority 1 outages
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent relevant experience
3+ years of experience in enterprise cloud infrastructure, including two years of experience with scripting, automating, and deploying in AWS and Azure
2+ years of experience architecting and designing AWS and or Azure environments
Experience automating through Python and Powershell
Cloud certifications, including Amazon Web Services and or Azure certified, preferred
Knowledge of security best practices
Proven experience in resolving outages and documenting designs, process and procedures
Ability to defend technical decisions but remain open to team input
Flexible, willing to work off-hours when required
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Team player with monster collaboration skills
