DevOps Solution Architect, Technology Enablement

Join Slalom as a Solution Architect and help build strategies and systems to help our clients solve their most complex and interesting business problems. What You’ll Do
Work directly with clients and our teams by leading and being accountable for the design and delivery of advanced Cloud and DevOps solutions.
Assist with estimating work efforts required for each phase of a project.
Evaluates benefits and risks of a solution’s feasibility and functionality.
Serve as subject matter expert in a particular skill or solution.
Develops project case studies, training materials and technical guidance to other Slalom project teams.
Leads and/or participates in internal Slalom events or initiatives.
5+ years of progressively responsible software engineering and DevOps experience.
Experience designing and implementing end-to-end Continuous Delivery pipelines.
Deep AWS, Azure, or Google public cloud experience in a production environment (e.g. network, security, deployment, automation, serverless technologies).
Configuration Management and Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM).
Exposure to common container solutions such as Docker, Kubernetes or ECS
Experience collaborating across multiple functional/technical teams to deliver a project.
Demonstrated growth mindset, enthusiastic about learning new technologies quickly and applying the gained knowledge to address business problems.
Ability to communicate with clients on a business level and translate their needs into a technical solution.
