Consultant - Technology Advisory

Are you enthusiastic about helping organizations deliver business value faster? Would you like to help organizations by advising on the latest technologies and helping fuel a transformation to adopt DevOps? 

One of our newest capabilities is our Technology Advisory Services, which provides technical leadership to guide customers in the journey to cloud and DevOps. We collaboratively design, build, and implement technology strategies and solutions to help solve complex client problems to drive business value. Specifically, we partner with customers to provide Cloud-Based (Infrastructure, Foundation, DevOps, Custom Development, Data, Analytics, and Security) Solutions. We invest in strategic alliance partnerships with all of the major Cloud Service Providers, AWS, Google, and Microsoft.

Join Slalom’s Local-Market team as a Solution Principal and help build strategies and systems to help our clients solve their most complex and exciting technical challenges.   • Help lead the technical approach for DevOps capabilities and provide oversight across engagements, working directly with both client and Slalom teams
  • Support sales pursuits by providing insight on technical discussions during presales or with client, and help translate client needs into meaningful outcome-based engagements, to create proposals
  • Build strong relationships and collaborate between Strategic Alliance Partners, local and cross markets, and build delivery centres to help support and mature their Cloud and DevOps delivery capabilities
  • Provide technical support to our cloud Strategic Alliance Partners including AWS, GCP and Azure
  • Evangelize and promote technology by representing Slalom at speaking engagements, hackathons, workshops, both internally and externally


  • 5+ years of progressively responsible technology and leadership experience
  • Knowledge in one or more cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Experience in refactoring and migrating workloads from on-premises datacenter to cloud platforms
  • Practice in refactoring monolithic and traditional application architectures to cloud-native or containers
  • Continuous Delivery pipeline design and implementation experience
  • Configuration Management and Infrastructure-as-Code experience (e.g. Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM)
  • Agile and Lean methodology experience, including collaborating across multiple functional/technical teams to deliver project outcomes
  • A demonstrated growth mindset, enthusiastic about learning new technologies quickly and applying the gained knowledge to address business problems
  • Ability to communicate with clients on a business level and translate their needs into a technical solution
