Financial Operations Supervisor

The Engagement Management Office, a team within the internal Accounting and Finance Department based in Seattle, has oversight responsibilities for the review, set-up, maintenance and collections of all of Slalom office’s contracted engagements world-wide. In addition to adding and maintaining engagement data, this team monitors and coordinates logistics with time entries, accounting data, project manages accounts receivable discrepancies and provides excellent customer service with both internal Slalom Markets and external Clients. (Visit for a complete list of locations.)

The ideal candidate will supervise a Region Engagement Management Office with unwavering accuracy, be exceedingly organized with a high emotional IQ and able to implement/communicate processes and policies in a fast paced environment. The EMO Supervisor will manage the EMO as an escalation for precise advanced contract review, A/R dispute resolution, communicate directly with region as financial operations liaison and manage a team of 4-5 people.

Responsibilities:Responsible for Regional EMO Performance

  • Oversight of the EMO Region’s Review/Research complex contracts/sales requests for Eng. Setup/maintenance
  • Set policy/procedure for both EMO and understand Bigger Picture Impacts
  • Responsible for training of all EMO group regarding complex/gray inquires, contracts and Accounts Receivable
  • Communicate and enforce processes with various Regional Markets to educate on Slalom & Audit Procedure
  • Collaborate with other Regional Supervisors and Manager on education, system changes and escalations

Qualifications:Accounting experience; including A/R, A/P, Staff Accounting, FP&A.

  • Minimum of six plus years of professional work experience
  • Management and confident mentoring capability
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution
  • Detail orientated with strong organizational and superior communication skills.
  • Service Minded with experience deciphering ambiguous requests and taking ownership
  • Ability to create and maintain positive relationships with employees at all levels of the organization
