Business Operations Analyst

Position Title: Business Operations Analyst

We are seeking a top-notch Operations Analyst for our Hartford Team. We are looking for an individual who exudes professionalism, etiquette, adaptability, foresight, resourcefulness, ability to think outside the box, and a servant’s heart. This person must have a demonstrated commitment to excellence and be comfortable performing daily tasks that are critical to the Hartford market. They must be obsessed with the details, a creative problem solver, and capable of seeing the big picture. Candidate must have great executive presence and be comfortable working with all levels of leadership. Candidate must be good at relationship building and be an effective communicator. We are looking for someone comfortable evaluating existing processes and operational issues while also being capable of thinking outside the box for solutions to those issues or development of new processes.

Business Operations Analyst

Specific account related responsibilities would include:

  • Provide account related metrics and other materials in support of account review
  • Manage account onboarding for anchor clients (background checks, equipment, space, timesheet set up, etc.)
  • Facilitate contracting process with account leads and client counterparts
  • Facilitate project set up and change orders with EMO (signatures, bill codes, hour true ups)
  • Support time entry validation, compliance, moves and reconciliation
  • Support billing reconciliation & assist in Accounts Receivable coordination as directed
  • Assist Client Service Leads with coordination and account planning activity (pricing and forecasting)
  • Setup/management of account documentation repository
  • Facilitate account reviews
  • Maintain sales, opportunity, staffing and engagement information in our systems
  • Provide account specific support for special items as needed

Specific staffing related responsibilities would include:

  • Work with leaders to track the staffing of all Hartford consultants, ensuring that staffing data is correct and up to date
  • Participate in weekly Pipeline meeting with all senior leaders and business development executives in the market to discuss open opportunities and staffing status of consultants
  • Facilitate the sourcing process for staffing needs to be filled by out of market or external resources
  • Provide all metrics concerning consultant staffing status as well as available resource metrics
  • Manage bench process, including facilitating stand ups, tracking activities of consultants while on the bench and allocating bench projects as appropriate
  • Partner with stakeholders and developers to create new staffing dashboards for more efficient reporting
  • Continuously evaluate staffing and operational processes and identify areas for improvement


  • Time may be split between Slalom office and client sites

Specific Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years professional work experience in an office sales or operations position
  • Strong financial aptitude
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work with many levels in the organization, support departments and business leaders
  • Good analysis skills, MS Excel knowledge, and ability to pick up new systems quickly

Things that would be a plus:

  • Experience in professional services company and contract management activities
  • Experience with Salesforce, Power BI
  • An understanding of CRM Systems (Salesforce, etc).
